Mindful Self Compassion and Burnout

Wise Sherpa founder, Rebecca Hill, has been practising mindful self compassion (‘MSC’) for a number of years as well as using many of the key concepts with clients as part of her approach to working with them. As a qualified MSC teacher, she is now running open events, virtual and in person, including the 8-week MSC programme, workshops and drop-in sessions.

“May I be as good a friend to myself as I am to others.”

Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) equips participants to respond to difficulties in their lives with kindness, care and understanding.

Do you:

  • Have a strong inner critic and want a more encouraging inner guide.
  • Want to know yourself better but don’t know how to get there.
  • Need better self-care skills but just can’t seem to find the time.
  • Worry about what others think and want specific how-to’s you can use every day.
  • Suffer from caregiver fatigue and find yourself running on empty.
  • Frequently work remotely and need a soft spot to land once a week.

Through the practices of MSC, you will start to:

  • Embed self-compassion in daily life.
  • Motivate yourself with kindness rather than criticism.
  • Handle difficult emotions with greater ease.
  • Transform challenging relationships, old and new.
  • Manage caregiver fatigue.
  • Practice the art of savouring and self-appreciation.

No mindfulness or meditation experience is required in order to participate any of the offerings. To learn a little more about MSC, please follow this link to an introductory video.
